How to say “dust” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
ويجب نزعُه في الثانية؛ لأنّ الترابَ لا يدخلُ تحتَه
It must be removed in the second strike because the dust does not enter beneath it.
التُّرَابَ — the dust. 'the dust,' in the -a form because 'because-that' before it forces its subject there. It is the subject of the reason-clause — the dust is the thing that fails to reach under the ring, as the verb states.
