How to say “equal” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
خارج عن الكائنات فلا يقال سامتها وحاذى،
He is beyond the entities, so it cannot be said He is equal to them or parallel.
سَامَتَهَا — He is equal to it. A past-tense verb with the doer 'He' built in and the attached -ha as its object, 'them', pointing back to the entities. So one word holds 'He matched them', the object pronoun fastened to the back as Arabic prefers, and the whole is what the negation rejects.
