Arabic vocabulary
How to say “expose” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَلِيُشَهِّرَنَّهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى بَعْدَ أَنْ سَتَرَهُ مَرَّاتٍ ،
And may Allah the Exalted expose him after He had concealed him several times,
وَلِيُشَهِّرَنَّهُ — and may He expose him. Several pieces stack here: 'wa-' linking to the prior wish, 'li-' as a command-particle ('may He...'), the verb itself, an emphatic ending that hammers the wish home with a forceful 'surely', and an attached '-hu' (him) as the verb's object. So one word carries a coordinated, intensified prayer with its target built in.
