وَهَذَا آخِرُ ثَلاَثِ مَرَّاتٍ أَنَّكَ تَزْعُمُ لَا تَعُودُ ثُمَّ تَعُودُ
And this is the last of three times that you claim you will not return, and then you return.
مَرَّاتٍ — times. A plural noun closing the count, the final link owned by 'three' before it. Arabic puts the thing counted after the numeral in this construction; the plural form names the repeated occasions the Prophet is tallying.
