فَيُقَدِّمُونَكُمْ فَتَصِلُونَ الْقِتَالَ فَيَكُونُ الْقَتْلُ بِكُمْ
They will send you forward, then you will reach the fighting, and the killing will be by you.
الْقِتَال — the fighting. This definite noun is the object that the verb 'reach' acts on, marked by the object ending and carrying 'the'. It names what the addressees run into: the fighting. Its definite ending shows it is the specific battle at hand.
