How to say “follow me” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
حَتَّى يَقُولُونَ قُلْ لِمَنْ لَا يَصْدُقُ لَا يَتْبَعُنِي
Until they say, "Say to the one who does not speak truthfully, 'Do not follow me.'"
يَتْبَعُنِي — he follows me. A present-tense verb 'follow' with a 'me' object on the end; with the prohibiting 'not' that governs it, it forms 'do not follow me'. The attached object pronoun names the speaker as the one not to be followed.
