How to say “glorify” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
الحمد لله الذي يسبحه الغصن الرطيب والعود اليبيس،
Praise be to Allah, whom the fresh branch and the dry twig glorify.
يُسَبِّحُهُ — glorify Him. A present-tense verb with a built-in 'he/it' subject and an attached 'him' object fused to its end, so one word means 'glorifies him'. The object pronoun points back to God named earlier, and the named doers of the glorifying follow as the verb's delayed subject.
