Arabic vocabulary
جُودَةٍ is how you say “goodness” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
وَهَذَا أَجْوَدُ أَحْوَالُهُ وَلَا جُودَةٍ فِيهَا أَوْ بِمَكَانٍ
And this is his best state, and there is no goodness in it or in any place.
جُودَةٍ — goodness. An indefinite noun 'goodness / quality', its final ending the indefinite genitive tag that goes with this 'there is no...' negation. It is the thing whose existence is denied: no goodness at all in those states.
