How to say “his states” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَهَذَا أَجْوَدُ أَحْوَالُهُ وَلَا جُودَةٍ فِيهَا أَوْ بِمَكَانٍ
And this is his best state, and there is no goodness in it or in any place.
أَحْوَالُهُ — his states. A plural noun carrying -hu 'his', 'his states', the owner term completing 'best of his states', so it sits in the 'of'-style (genitive) ending. The attached pronoun ties the set of conditions back to the man being judged.
