Arabic vocabulary
How to say “happiness” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
ويعلم أن في القيام به سعادة الدنيا والآخرة
And he knows that fulfilling it brings happiness in this world and the hereafter.
سَعَادَةَ — happiness. The delayed subject of the existence statement, 'happiness', which the fronted preposition-phrase points to. Because the structure is reshaped by the 'that...' particle, this subject carries the object ending despite being what exists; it also heads an 'of' pairing with the next word.
