Arabic vocabulary
How to say “hate” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وأحب لله ، وأبغض في الله ،
And love for the sake of God, and hate for the sake of God,
وَأَبْغِضْ — and hate. This is the bound wa- 'and' plus a command verb, 'and hate', addressed to a single male. The wa- coordinates this order with the previous one, and the imperative carries no separate 'you'; the doer is built into the command.
