Arabic vocabulary
How to say “his mention” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَالْخِصْلَةَ العَاشِرَةَ الَّتِي بِهَا مَجْدُهُ وَأَعْلَى ذِكْرِهِ
And the tenth trait by which his glory and his mention is elevated.
ذِكْرِهِ — his mention. A noun for 'mention/renown' with a '-hi' (his) fused on as possessor, 'his renown'. The suffix points back to the same man as 'his glory' did, so both possessives share one owner across the clause. It is the second thing the tenth trait raises high.
