How to say “tenth” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَالْخِصْلَةَ العَاشِرَةَ الَّتِي بِهَا مَجْدُهُ وَأَعْلَى ذِكْرِهِ
And the tenth trait by which his glory and his mention is elevated.
الْعَاشِرَة — the tenth. An ordinal 'tenth' on the counting-adjective pattern, agreeing in feminine gender with the trait it modifies and matching its accusative ending. Arabic adjectives copy the case, number, and gender of their noun, so this ending mirrors the noun before it. It marks this as the last of the ten qualities.
