How to say “the trait” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَالْخِصْلَةَ العَاشِرَةَ الَّتِي بِهَا مَجْدُهُ وَأَعْلَى ذِكْرِهِ
And the tenth trait by which his glory and his mention is elevated.
وَالْخِصْلَةَ — and the trait. Opens with a connector 'wa-' continuing the list of traits, joined to a noun made definite by 'al-' that carries an accusative ending, marking it as an object picked out for special mention. The 'wa-' here keeps the enumeration going. The accusative flags this trait as the one being singled out and elaborated.
