How to say “hurt me” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
آكِلٌ مِنْ كِيسِي وَمِنْ كِسْوَتِي حَتَّى لَقَدْ أَوْجَعَنِي ضِرْسِي
I ate from my purse and from my clothes until my molar ached.
أَوْجَعَنِي — hurt me. A past-tense verb with its subject built in and -ni fused on as the object 'me', so the molar 'pained me' with subject and object inside one word. The -ni is the special 'me' object form attached to verbs.
