فَيَنْدُرُ مَنْ يَتَنَاوَلُ بِمُقْتَضَى مَصْلَحَتِهِ وَلا يَتَعَدَّى
So rare are those who eat only what benefits them and do not go beyond that.
مَصْلَحَتِهِ — their interest. '-hi' = 'his/their'; the 'of' word (genitive).

So if a benefit occurs, it happens incidentally and as a secondary outcome.
مَصْلَحَةٌ — a benefit. Subject (nominative); the '-un' ending (no 'al-') marks it indefinite, 'a...'.
