How to say “Islamic” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
الَّتِي لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهَا نَظِيرٌ فِي الْعَالَمِ الْإِسْلَامِيِّ
which had no equal in the Islamic world.
الْإِسْلَامِيِّ — Islamic. A relational adjective ('Islamic') modifying the preceding noun. It agrees with that noun in being definite (it too carries al-), in gender, and in the genitive case, which is how Arabic shows an adjective is bound to its noun. Together they form 'the Islamic world'.
