Arabic vocabulary
How to say “it reaches me” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَمَا عَسَى أَنْ يَبْلُغَنِي مِنْ هَذَا اللَّبَنِ،
And perhaps some of this milk will reach me.
يَبْلُغَنِي — it reaches me. A present-form verb 'reach' shifted to its subjunctive ending by the 'that' before it, carrying 'me' attached as object; so 'that it reaches me'. The changed ending marks the subordinated, hoped-for action. The 'me' is the one reached.
