Arabic vocabulary
How to say “launch” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فلم يبق لِلِّصِّ إلا البيت الثالث، فهو الذي يَشُنُّ عليه الغارة
So the thief is left with only the third house, which he launches an attack on.
يَشُنُّ — he launches. A present-tense verb 'mounts / launches', subject 'he' (the thief) inside, the action done to the house. The doubled final root gives the energetic 'press an attack' sense.
