Arabic vocabulary
How to say “love” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَمَعْنَى هَذَا أَنَّ الطَّبْعَ يَتَقَاضَى مَا يَحِبُّ
And the meaning of this is that the natural disposition takes what it loves.
يَحِبُّ — it loves. A present-tense verb ('loves') with the 'it' subject built in, agreeing back with the disposition. It fills the relative clause, naming what the nature reaches for. The subject is carried inside the verb form, so no pronoun is spelled out.
