فَقَالَ النَّبِي لَا تلعنه فَإِنَّهُ يحب الله وَرَسُوله
The Prophet said, 'Do not curse him, for he loves Allah and His Messenger.'
يُحِبُّ — he loves. This is a present-tense verb with a built-in 'he' subject, the doubled middle root giving the strong sense of 'loves'. It states the reason the man should not be cursed, with its objects named next.
