Arabic vocabulary
How to say “made” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وصيرها مساكن الخلق تربيهم صغارًا وتضمهم رفاتا،
And He made it the dwellings of creation, nurturing them as infants and receiving them as remains,
وَصَيَّرَهَا — and He made it. The 'and' joins the clause, and beneath it a past-tense verb means 'He made it become', with its 'he' subject built in and an attached 'it' pointing back to the earth. This verb of transforming takes that 'it' plus a second object, so it sets up 'made the earth into dwellings'.
