بِالْأَسْبَابِ — with the means. 'bi-' = 'with'; 'al-' = 'the'; 'asbab' = 'means, causes' (plural), so 'with the means'.

أَسْبَابِ — means for. A broken plural, 'means / occasions,' in the -i form, owned in 'the providing of the means of...'. It itself heads a further 'of' pair with 'acquaintance and mercy': the things that bring people together.
