تُوضَع بطاقةٌ فيها كلمة التوحيد في كفّة، وتُقابِلها سجلاّتٌ من الذنوب في الكفّة الأخرى، فتغلب البطاقةُ بما فيها من حقٍّ خالص
A card with the word of monotheism is placed on one side, and records of sins on the other side; the card outweighs them with its pure truth.
وَتُقَابِلُهَا — and opposes it. 'and it faces it' — 'wa' plus present 'sets opposite' (form-III), with 'it' (the card) attached as object. Its own subject 'records' comes next.

And for this reason, one of them corresponds with the other.
يُقَابِلُ — corresponds. A present-tense verb ('corresponds/is set against') with 'it' implied as doer. The present shape marks this as a general truth about how the two opposites relate.
