Arabic vocabulary
How to say “more intense” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وفى رواية كنت أحبها كأشد ما يحب الرجال النساء،
In a narration, I used to love her as intensely as men love women.
كَأَشَدِّ — as intensely. This is the likeness-prefix ka- ('as/like') fused onto a superlative, building a comparison, 'as intensely as'. The ka- sets up a simile, and the noun it joins heads a pairing that the relative word next completes, framing how strong the love was.
