Arabic vocabulary
How to say “most despicable” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَجُهِّلَ الإِنْسَانُ بِحُقُوقِ الْمُنْعِمِ مِنْ أَخْسِ صِفَاتِهِ،
A person's ignorance of the rights of the benefactor is among his most despicable traits.
أَخْسِ — most despicable. This is a superlative on the 'most X' pattern, here 'most despicable', the top of the scale of base traits. Arabic forms 'most X' with a single fixed mold rather than adding a separate 'most'. It opens an owner-and-owned pairing with 'his traits', meaning the worst of them.
