How to say “narrate” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
الآن يسمع الجزء ونفسه تحدثه متى يرويه؟
Now he listens to the part and his self talks to him: When will he narrate it?
يَرْوِيهِ — will he narrate it. A present-tense verb 'narrate/transmit' with a built-in 'he' subject and 'it' attached as object, pointing back to 'the part'. Read with the fronted 'when', it is future-leaning - 'when will he narrate it?'. The attached object pronoun tracks the booklet he hopes one day to pass on.
