Arabic vocabulary
How to say “orbits” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وينزل القطر إذا شاء فيبهت السماك والعوى،
And He sends down rain when He wills, bewildering the sailor and the orbits.
العَوَى — the orbits. A definite noun joined as a second object of the bewildering, in the matching object ending. The 'the' marks it as known, and its accusative shape keeps it parallel to the first thing acted upon.
