Arabic vocabulary
How to say “people” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَإِنَّ بِهَا أُنَاسًا يَعْبُدُونَ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى
Indeed, there are people in it who worship Allah, the Exalted.
أُنَاسًا — people. This is an indefinite plural noun serving as the topic governed by 'inna', so it takes the object-style (accusative) ending that 'inna' imposes. Its indefinite shape introduces 'some people' as a fresh group existing in that land, the existence 'inna' is asserting.
