Arabic vocabulary
How to say “pour out” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَهْرِقُوهَا وَاكْسِرُوهَا
The Messenger of God said, "Pour it out and break it."
أَهْرِقُوهَا — pour it out. A command form aimed at a group (the plural ending), 'pour out', with -ha glued on as its feminine object, 'it' (the meat/contents). The 'you all' lives in the imperative shape while the object rides on the end, so one word carries command and object.
