How to say “prostitutes” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَقَالَتْ اللَّهُمَّ لَا تُمِتْهُ حَتَّى تُرِيهُ وُجُوهَ الْمُوْمِسَاتِ،
She said, "O Allah, do not let him die until You show him the faces of the prostitutes."
الْمُوْمِسَاتِ — the prostitutes. The owner half of the 'faces of the...' pairing: the faces belong to these. In an 'X of Y' chain Arabic just sets the two nouns side by side with no word for 'of', and this second noun takes the possessor (genitive) ending that shows it is the owner.
