Arabic vocabulary
How to say “show him” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَقَالَتْ اللَّهُمَّ لَا تُمِتْهُ حَتَّى تُرِيهُ وُجُوهَ الْمُوْمِسَاتِ،
She said, "O Allah, do not let him die until You show him the faces of the prostitutes."
تُرِيهُ — show him. A make-someone-do (causative) verb -- 'cause him to see / show him' -- with '-hu' (him) as the one shown. Sitting after 'until', it is the endpoint the prayer drives toward; the causative shape adds the second party who does the looking.
