How to say “Qasim” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَقَالَ لِيَّ أَحَدُهُمْ يَا أَبَ الْقَاسِمُ أَنتَ
Then one of them said to me, "O Abu al-Qasim, are you?"
الْقَاسِمُ — al-Qasim. A proper name carrying 'al-', completing the 'Abu al-Qasim' title. It pairs with the preceding 'father (of)' so the two together form one address-name for the person being spoken to.
