How to say “Rashid” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَأُمًّا ابْنَتُهُ رَابِعَةُ فَتَزَوَّجَتْ مِنْ ابْنِ رَشِيدِ الطَبَرِيِّ،
As for his daughter Rabaa, she married the son of Rashid al-Tabari.
رَشِيدِ — Rashid. A proper name serving as the owning half of the 'son of ...' pair, so it sits in the 'of' (genitive) form set by that construction. It names the father in the patronymic. Its case comes from its place inside the name-chain, not from the sentence's main verb.
