How to say “she married” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَأُمًّا ابْنَتُهُ رَابِعَةُ فَتَزَوَّجَتْ مِنْ ابْنِ رَشِيدِ الطَبَرِيِّ،
As for his daughter Rabaa, she married the son of Rashid al-Tabari.
فَتَزَوَّجَتْ — then she married. This verb is fronted by an attached 'then/so' answering the earlier 'as for ...' frame, delivering what is finally said about the daughter. The verb is past and feminine, its ending agreeing with her as the female subject built into it. So the joined particle closes the topic structure opened above.
