How to say “remove” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
غيرَ أنّ مسحَ العضو النجس لا يصحّ حتى تُزالَ نجاسته
However, wiping the impure limb is not valid until its impurity is removed.
تُزَالَ — is removed. A passive verb, 'is removed,' in the subjunctive (the -a) after 'until,' and feminine to agree with its subject 'its impurity' to come. Doer unnamed — the filth simply gets removed. Only then does the limb's wipe count.
