How to say “rewarded” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وقد يثاب الرجل على تعليمها بالنية إن شاء الله تعالى
A person may be rewarded for teaching it with the right intention, if Allah wills.
يُثَابُ — be rewarded. This is a passive verb — 'is rewarded' — built by reshaping the vowels so the subject RECEIVES the action rather than doing it. Arabic marks the passive inside the verb itself, with no helper like 'is'. The one rewarded comes next as its stand-in subject.
