وَالنَّفْسُ مَطِيَّةُ الْعَبْدِ الَّتِي يَسِيرُ عَلَيْهَا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ أَوِ النَّارِ
And the soul is the servant's mount on which he rides to Paradise or Hell.
يَسِيرُ — rides. A present-tense verb ('rides') with 'he' implied, describing what is done on the mount. The present shape marks the riding as the ongoing function within the relative clause.
