How to say “safeguard it” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
أجمع المسلمون على وجوب تعظيم القرآن العزيز على الاطلاق وتنزيهه وصيانته
Muslims unanimously agree on the obligation to honor the Glorious Quran in all cases, and to respect and safeguard it.
وَصِيَانَتِهِ — and safeguard it. An 'and' joining a third verbal noun 'safeguarding', again with an attached '-it' pointing to the Quran. The 'and' files it alongside the previous two duties under the same obligation. The possessive suffix tracks back to the Quran, and the word keeps the chain's (genitive) ending.
