Arabic vocabulary
السَّلَامَةُ is how you say “safety” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
فَإِنَّهُ إِنْ قُدِرَ لَكَ السَّلَامَةُ تَسْلَمُ
So if safety is decreed for you, you will be safe.
السَّلامَة — safety. An abstract noun, 'safety', acting as the thing being decreed: it is the subject of the passive verb just before it, so it takes the subject-style ending. The al- prefix makes it definite. It is what the whole 'if' clause supposes might be allotted.
