Arabic vocabulary
How to say “she collapsed” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
قَالَتْ نَعَمْ فَخَرَّتْ مَغْشِيًا عَلَيْهَا،
She said, 'Yes,' then she collapsed, fainting upon her.
فَخَرَّتْ — then she collapsed. The prefix fa- marks the immediate consequence ('then/so'), and the verb 'collapsed' carries a feminine doer 'she'. So it ties her fall directly to the 'yes' just spoken, the subject inside the verb.
