How to say “sin” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَلَا مُوسَىٰ لَامَ آدَمَ أَيْضًا لِأَجَلِ الذَّنْبِ
Moses did not blame Adam because of the sin either.
الذَّنْبِ — the sin. A definite noun, marked by its attached 'the', naming the specific sin already in view rather than sin in general. It sits in the genitive because the 'because of' phrase just before it governs it.
