صَغِيرٍ — small. 'saghir' = 'small'; describes 'a matter'.

صَغِيرَةٍ — small. 'small', adjective on 'truths', genitive — and here the adjective DOES show the regular -in ending its noun could not.

صَغِيرًا — small. An adjective 'small' in the object form, its tanwin ending marking it as a state-word — whether what they do or say is small. This accusative-of-state use lets it describe the deeds and words across a range. It opens the 'small or great' pair that means 'of any size at all'.
