Arabic vocabulary
How to say “spending” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَتَرْبِيَتُهُ بِالْكَسْبِ لَهُ وَالْإِنْفَاقِ عَلَيْهِ
and raising him by earning a livelihood for him and by spending on him.
وَالْإِنْفَاقِ — and the spending. The front wa- adds a second means alongside the earning, joining 'the spending' to it, and the noun carries al- 'the'. As a second item under the same 'by means of' framing it sits in the genitive. So it extends the method: not only earning but also spending on the child.
