Arabic vocabulary
How to say “testifies to it” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَكَثِيرٌ مِمَّنْ يَتَكَلَّمُ فِي الحَقِيقَةِ فَيَشْهَدُهَا
And many of those who speak about the truth testify to it.
فَيَشْهَدُهَا — then he testifies to it. The 'fa-' draws a consequence ('and so'), and the verb 'bears witness' carries the object ending '-ha' (it) attached, so it means 'so he testifies to it'. The attached pronoun points back to the truth just named.
