Arabic vocabulary
How to say “that you” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَإِذَا رَأَى الْجُلَسَاءُ أَنَّكُمْ لَمْ تَتَغَيَّرُوا عَلَى أَخِيكُمْ
So when the companions saw that you did not stand up for your brother.
أَنكُمْ — that you. The emphasis-particle 'that' fused with an attached plural 'you', opening the reported content of what was seen. The particle also forces the object-style ending onto whatever follows as its subject.
