وَحَفِظَ مِنْ خُطَبِ الْحَجَّاجِ اِقْدَعُوا هَذِهِ النُّفُوسُ
And it protects these souls from the speeches of the crowds.
الحجاج — the crowds. A definite noun as the owner half of the chain ('speeches of...'), in the genitive. Its 'the' fixes the pairing, naming whose speeches.
