Arabic vocabulary
How to say “the destination” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
لَكَانَتْ صَفْقَةٌ رَابِحَةً، وَالْوَجْهَةُ الْمُفَلِّجَةُ النَّاجِحَةُ
It would have been a winning deal, and the fortunate, successful destination.
وَالْوَجْهَةُ — and the destination. The wa- on the front is the linking 'and', joining a parallel item to the previous one. The noun it rides carries al- 'the', so it is definite and opens a second, balanced phrase set alongside the winning deal.
