How to say “the evening” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
So he leaves it to rest with them two when an hour of the evening has passed.
الْعِشَاءِ — the evening. Carries 'al-' for definiteness and sits in the 'of' ending demanded by the preposition before it. It names the whole stretch from which the single hour is drawn.
