How to say “the Messenger” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَذَاكَ إِذْ يَدْعُوْهُمْ الرَّسُولُ فِي أُخْرَاهُمْ،
And that was when the Messenger called to them from behind.
الرَّسُولُ — the Messenger. A definite title 'the Messenger' (built-in 'the') standing as the doer of the calling, so it takes the subject ending. Placed after its verb in the usual verb-first order, it names who calls.
